HARMONIES IN WOOD CLIENT TESTIMONIALS
‘We have been working with Scott for over 10 years for our awards for the Scottish Charity Awards.
As our awards have grown over the years, Scott has worked with us to reflect this in his design giving each award category its unique colour scheme and look. Scott also designed our People’s Choice award with a heart design which was chosen to represent how this special award voted by the public touched people’s hearts with their personal stories.
Our award winners comment on how stunning the awards look every year and sit proudly in many voluntary organisations offices and spaces.
We love working with Scott every year and its great he takes care of everything from the production, design, engraving to carefully wrapping and bagging.
An amazing service for such an amazing award ceremony.’
‘Scott has been producing awards for us for many years. He provides a very professional service, is a pleasure to work with and always delivers well within specified timescales. We love his most beautifully designed awards and they are admired by all winners and the wider audience.’
‘Scott has been a wonderful supporter of our charity for many years. He made a stunning mirror for our Ripple Retreat which is admired regularly by visitors. In addition to several pieces of sculpture Scott has made us two sets of awards – our Young Ambassador awards and our newest award the Joanna Lamb Award for Outstanding Volunteering. Both awards were designed by Scott – with only minimal requests from me – He took my scant ideas on both occasions and turned them into perfect pieces for us. His attention to detail is incredible. His work is very tactile – I love to feel the wood and its curves. It is a real joy to follow him on social media too and watch his young son Sam follow in his footsteps learning this craft. We have one of Sam’s early pieces at our Ripple Retreat too and it has pride of place in the children’s bedroom there.
I found out about Scott ten years ago when I won an award and thought it a very beautiful piece of art. I found out who made it and got in touch. I am proud that It’s Good 2 Give’s award are made locally and by such a dedicated craftsman.’
