Sculpture of the week 29th March 2019

The sculpture of the week is a ‘Journey’ sculpture made from Scottish Ash. The fused glass panels in this Journey sculpture is based on an abstract design of the Pentland Hills. The Ash base has been handcarved to follow the shape of the panels. There is a journey line carved into each side of the Ash base. It has 3 tealights inlaid into the centre of the Ash base which light up the design on the fused glass panels. These sculptures can be made in any colour of glass. They make the perfect sculpture for the centre of a table.
